I'm pleased to invite entries for my 2024 Newcastle Photography Competition! 

The competition calls on budding and seasoned photographers alike to capture the essence of Newcastle, people, or scenes.

I'll be looking out for photos which feature Newcastle’s breathtaking beauty, daily life,

I look forward to seeing the incredible artistic talent our community has to offer.

The photograph that wins the competition will be showcased on my annual Christmas card, which will be send to every household in Newcastle, our amazing community groups, my colleagues in the Federal Parliament, including the Prime Minister, as well as the Governor-General and other dignitaries.

The winner will also receive a $150 voucher and the three runners-up will receive a $50 each to spend at MacLean's Booksellers or any one of the dozens of creative, independent and locally owned Makers and Traders Newcastle businesses.
